Personal Healing Reflections

I would like to share Sound Medicine resources I have come across recently, my hypothesis, synaptic connections (epiphanies) on sacred Indigenous land, frequencies, earth's magnetic field, and their connection with Sound Medicine (everything, everything has its own frequency from an atom, to a plant, to a human organ, to disease, etc).

At a friend's birthday party mid January, I had an amazing discussion with someone on the healing energy of Indigenous sacred land. I learned this at Menla Institute in Catskills, NY in 2013 when I visited for a Tibetan Medicine Retreat with Lama Lobsang.

Menla is located on a crater which gives them a stronger magnetic field from the earth's core and Indigenous people considered this location sacred, and used this location for spiritual (healing) ceremonies.

My hypothesis from learning about additional Indigenous sacred/communal places in US and internationally, as well as visiting a vast array of western and eastern centers of worship plus seeing their different architecture methods, particularly noting its building materials (think marble, granite, carving into solid rock, natural woods, etc) is that beyond the geographical location with an already high magnetic field, or *higher* magnetic field in contrast to nearby locations, of the existing geographical location, where spiritual ceremonies were held, to be even more amplified with herz frequencies due to songs they sung at ceremonies as specific sound levels/tones/pitches create these hz frequencies (especially if there is an echo chamber reaction, where the waves keep bouncing off the structures) creating resonances that are healing to mind, body, and spirit.

Additionally, architecture and materials used function as magnifiers, projectors if you will, at Indigenous sacred locations as well as medieval/renaissance churches/temples/mosques/places of worship (think glass panes, high ceilings, domes).

All this came to mind when the person I was speaking with mentioned an ancient Indigenous amphitheatre--at The Cascades in Worcester!--where I imagined people congregating for ceremonies. I immediately thought of Menla and this hypothesis which keeps evolving as I gain more life experience and knowledge and the more I learn of healing sounds and their frequencies plus connections to magnetic fields in the geolocation. Especially if there are rock formations which help magnify/project these frequencies. Check out the list of resources below to learn more!

The best part is that this inspiring conversation led to the creation of a Forest Bathing event this Friday at The Cascades in Worcester! All details are on SproutChange's Facebook, under Events.

Please feel free to share your insights, hypothesis, and viewpoints. If you know any historical evidence or scientific facts please share. I would love to learn more!

Sincerely,
