COMMUNITY ACTIVATION

Grassroots Advocacy

Since 2016 we have been helping everyday people reclaim their health using food as medicine, natural remedies, herbs, and agroecology (“No-Dig Garden”).

This led to the first-of-its-kind 3-year Hospital funded multilingual programming which is inclusive, multicultural, multilingual, multigenerational, adaptive, accessible, built-in with social determinants of health. Through community building at the Fitchburg Community Garden and Clinton Public Library we were able to encourage community engagement, social impact, social determinants of health. This included multilingual programming, onsite childcare, transportation stipends, and inclusion for disabilities and multicultural groups.
